What is required for FHA/HUD certifications?
The requirement is that the foundation meet the guidelines of a very specific document – the September 1996 Permanent Foundation Guide For Manufactured Housing. This is independent of any state or local requirement or manufacturer’s guidelines.
What is the turnaround time?
Our normal turnaround time is 3-5 business days. We have an expedited service available with a 24-48 hour turnaround.

Our normal practice is to be paid up front, but we have a payment at closing option.
What if the foundation is not HUD compliant?
We can typically upgrade the foundation within 3 days.

What happens after the upgrades are performed?
We schedule a reinspection and submit our report to the engineer for review and issue of the engineering certificate
How are your engineering certificates delivered?
We send our certificates via email. Upon request we can have an original “wet seal” of the engineering certificate sent to your office. However, the emailed versions are acceptable 99% of the time.
